• Creators: Individuals or organizations who hold an account with us to create and distribute surveys.
• Respondents: Individuals who fill out surveys hosted on our platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect different information depending on how you interact with our platform.

A. Information from Creators

• Account Data: Name, email address, password, and organization details.
• Billing Data: Credit card information and billing address (processed securely by our payment partners, e.g., Stripe).
• Survey Content: The questions, logic, and settings you create within your surveys.

B. Information from Respondents

• Survey Responses: The answers, text, and files submitted through a survey. Note: Creators are responsible for the content of their surveys and are the “Data Controllers” of this information.
• Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information to ensure survey integrity (e.g., preventing duplicate submissions).

2. How We Use Your Data

We only use your data to provide, improve, and secure our services.

For Creators, we use your data to:

• Manage your account and process payments.
• Provide customer support and send service updates.
• Monitor platform performance and develop new features.

For Respondents, we use your data to:

• Host and deliver your responses securely to the Creator.
• Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse (such as bot submissions).

Our Promise: We do not own your survey data. We will never sell Respondent data, nor will we use Respondent data to market our own services to them.

3. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform. These include:

• Cloud Hosting: Secure servers where your data is stored.
• Payment Processors: Services to handle Creator subscriptions.
• Email Deliverability: Services used to send account verification or survey invitations.

All third-party providers are strictly bound by Data Processing Agreements and are prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to make our platform work efficiently:

• Essential Cookies: Required for Creators to log in and stay authenticated.
• Survey Integrity Cookies: Used to remember if a Respondent has already completed a survey, preventing duplicate entries.
• Analytics: To help us understand how visitors interact with our main website (Creators can opt-out of these).

5. Data Security and Retention

We take data protection seriously and implement industry-standard security measures:

• Encryption: Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
• Access Controls: Strict internal access protocols and regular security audits.

Retention: We retain Creator account data for as long as the account is active. Survey responses are retained until the Creator deletes them or closes their account. Once deleted by a Creator, survey data is permanently removed from our active servers within 30 days.

6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

• For Creators: You can access, update, export, or delete your personal data at any time by logging into your account settings or contacting us.
• For Respondents: Because the Creator is the Data Controller of your responses, you must contact the Creator directly to request access to or deletion of your survey answers. If you are unable to reach the Creator, you may contact us, and we will attempt to facilitate your request.
